What is a tachograph?
The tachograph is a component of the boarding instrument for commercial and industrial vehicles.
The instrument performs a measurement of three parameters: vehicle speed, driver driving time and distance traveled. Detections are combined automatically and, on the basis of Reg. Cee 561/2006, entail the immediate infringement calculations of driving times.
Tachographs are shared between two categories: those Analog and Digital of latest generation.
Analogue tachographs record the above parameters on a diagrammed paper disk, digital tachographs on the contrary, record everything on an electronic memory placed inside them.
